Brands Hatch Indy today

Both Christian with SMT and Pat with East Coast Racing were at Brands Hatch Indy today for pre season testing. The weather was not good with the track remaining damp all day unfortunately. However both riders were able to get some laps in but not able to push in the way they wanted.
That is probably the completion of pre season testing for Pat before the Brands Hatch round in two weeks time. Christian however, has more days next week. Following the BSB Media day at Bedford Autodrome on Monday Christian is at Cadwell Park on Tuesday and Oulton Park on Wednesday. The Cadwell Park event should be particularly useful as it is limited to 20 riders in total with an open pit lane.
Martin's bike was not quite ready for today but he is planning to be out next week. Details to follow.
Gino Rea and Andrew Stone were at the circuit today to catch up with everybody before their test at the circuit on Monday and flight to Portimao on Tuesday. Gino's next race is a week on Sunday in the WSBK Portimao round, at the circuit that is one of Gino's favourites with a race win in 2008 and podium 3rd place last year sealing his Championship win. Gino and Andrew are focusing on a strong result.

For 2010 StoneBaker Racing sponsored four riders in the British Superbike Championship. Dan Linfoot, Christian Iddon, Pat McDougall and Martin Glossop.
Dan signed for his second year with premier team Rob Mac Racing Yamaha and made the step up to compete his first full Superbike season.
Christian moved from supermoto to focus on his short circuit racing career in 2010 and competed British Superbike initially with the SMT team.
Pat joined East Coast Racing full time for 2010 competing in his and the team's, first full year in the British Supersport Championship.
Martin progressed from 125cc to 600cc racing for 2010 in British Superstock 600 with TAG Triumph.
