14-10-2010

The last round of the season has come around all too quickly but brought with it good news for all riders:

Dan completed his 26 race season with an 11th, a DNF and a 12th in the three race event, to gain 101 championship points in his debut season on Superbikes. It has been an exciting and challenging year where Dan has learnt a huge amount and gained much Superbike experience that he will take forward to future seasons. There is no doubt that in years to come Dan will look back very positively on this season with Rob Mac Racing, as part of a strong base on which he will have built his successful Superbike racing career. Dan is in final negotiations with teams for 2011 in BSB and expects to be able to announce his ride for next year within the next couple of weeks.

Pat is the new British Supersport Cup Champion for 2010. Congratulations to Pat and the East Coast Racing team, on a very well deserved award. Pat had to keep his points tally in front of Dan Kneen and Jenny Tinmouth in the race. Pat showed that he would take the challenge head on with a strong start to the race and then protecting his position to the finish. Great outcome. Pat is now looking to secure a ride for the 2011 season and will be talking with prospective teams over the coming weeks.

Christian rode for GNS Honda at Oulton Park in the British Supersport Championship, finishing an excellent 13th in the race having started from pitlane because of engine issues that had been ongoing through the weekend. Christian is now is discussion with teams in British Supersport, World Supersport and British Superbike re rides for 2011 and expects to have more news over the next month.

Martin did not race at Oulton Park to save funds for the 2011 season having already achieved in 2010 what he needed to. This season Martin has moved from having no experience on a 600cc four stroke, to being a top 10 rider in the Superstock 600 Championship. Martin is now looking to compete for the British Superstock 600 title next year or to move into British Supersport. He will make that decision over the coming weeks as funding and team plans come together.

I will update this website as plans get confirmed over the coming weeks.
