BSB Rd 6. Knockhill. Race Day Sunday

14-07-2010

The day was dominated by the wet and windy conditions that hit Knockhill ultimately shortening the meeting and pushing the 2nd Superbike and STK600 races to Snetterton.

The first Superbike race ran in the wet and following a good start Dan unfortunately lost traction after two laps going into turn one crashing out unharmed. In race two Dan again started well but the race was red flagged for a crash and was postponed to Snetterton.

Christian had a good battling result in race one finishing 14th having started 16th on the grid.

Pat finished 2nd in the Cup competition and 17th overall, having started 19th on the grid. The team are working on the bike to increase the power for the fast Snetterton circuit. The result secures Pat at the top of the Cup table 5 points clear on 87 points.

Martin finished 18th in his race having started in 14th on the grid leaving Martin frustrated but looking forward to Snetterton to continue his progress. Snetterton will host the second race planned for Knockhill as well as the Snetterton race itself.
