BSB Rd 7. Snetterton.
18-07-2010
We have been blessed with better weather at Snetterton than we had at Knockhill and that enabled the carried over STK 600 and Superbike races to take place yesterday. Martin gained a 14th place result and Dan a 13th.
Race day today and the sun is out.
Christian's plan to race STK 1000 here did not work out and therefore unfortunately Christian is not racing this weekend.
Dan was first out with the first Superbike race. Another difficult start moved Dan back from his starting grid position of 9th to 13th and then after settling in Dan started to move forward. It seemed likely that a top ten finish would result but Dan lost the front after 9 laps to end his race. Dan's fastest lap leaves him 15th on the grid for race two.
Martin was next out in STK 600 starting from his qualifying position of 21st on the grid. Martin moved to 18th through the course of the race and is progressing round by round but finished 29 seconds behind the leader. Martin will be looking to reduce that deficit at Brands Hatch.
Pat is out later in Supersport and then Dan in the second Superbike race.
