Dan on the front row for race one tomorrow
04-04-2010
Dan and Rob Mac Racing had a great day today. In a wet final free practice session this morning, Dan achieved 3rd fastest time which then set up things for a sensational Roll for Poll this afternoon.
In Roll for Pole session one Dan and the team decided to try a softer tyre formula (0) which should provide more grip however it unsettled the bike and Dan put in the fastest time he could at 46.5s giving 10th position therefore moving through to session two. In session two Dan moved back to the slighter harder (1) compound and immediatly went faster with a fastest of 46.0s and 7th position therefore moving through to session three. In session three Dan pulled the pin and posted a startling 45.8s lap and 4th place which Dan then held through to the end of the session giving a front row start position for race one tomorrow.
A fantastic result for Dan and Rob Mac Racing. All eyes now on the races tomorrow.
