Day one in Portimao

Today was the first day of the three day test for Pat McDougall and East Coast Racing at Portimao. Rain this morning limited the time on track but dry sessions this afternoon enabled Pat and the team to "run in" and start to get to grips with their new Yamaha R6 Supersport bike. The bike ran well and Pat is feeling comfortable. Saturday and Sunday will bring opportunities to start to look for lap times.

For 2010 StoneBaker Racing is sponsoring four riders in the British Superbike Championship. Dan Linfoot, Christian Iddon, Pat McDougall and Martin Glossop.
Dan has signed for his second year with premier team Rob Mac Racing Yamaha and will make the step up to compete his first full Superbike season.
Christian is moving from supermoto to focus on his short circuit racing career in 2010 and is competing British Superbike initially with the SMT team.
Pat joins East Coast Racing full time for 2010 competing in his and the team's, first full year in the British Supersport Championship.
Martin is progressing from 125cc to 600cc racing for 2010 in British Superstock 600 with TAG Triumph.
