Christian continues in World Supersport at Nurburgring

Following the wildcard round in World Supersport with Parkalgar at Silverstone, Christian is riding this coming weekend at Nurburgring for the Swedish Cresto Guide World Supersport team.

This will enable Christian to continue developing his experience in this class and hopefully will lead to further rides in the other two rounds this year at Imola and Magny Cours.

I should have some photos over this weekend.

Dan had a solid weekend with Rob Mac Racing to finish 9th and 13th in the two races and now heads to Croft looking to build on his experience gained this season in the final 3 rounds. Before Croft the team are planning testing time to implement developments that they have worked on with Yamaha in Germany over the last 2 weeks. Dan is looking forward to the remaining 7 races.

Overall we were lucky with the weather for the weekend and the big Brands Hatch event went well. For Dan, Pat and Martin it was different outcomes and another round out for Christian although he is expecting to be back in the paddock soon and has more WSS wildcard plans.

Dan had the chance this weekend to work with Frankie from Sterilgarda Yamaha, Leon Camier and his manager Andy Walker, as well as the Rob Mac Racing team. This helped give additional advice to Dan who came away from t

BSB Rd 7. Snetterton.

We have been blessed with better weather at Snetterton than we had at Knockhill and that enabled the carried over STK 600 and Superbike races to take place yesterday. Martin gained a 14th place result and Dan a 13th.

Race day today and the sun is out.

Christian's plan to race STK 1000 here did not work out and therefore unfortunately Christian is not racing this weekend.

Christian and SMT part company

Unfortunately the partnership between Christian and SMT has finished with Robin Croft ending the contract. At this time Robin has not explained the reasons but it appears that he is not comfortable to continue to support Christian's development year in Superbike.

Christian and his sponsors including me, are now looking at alternative Superbike rides for this season. Whilst doing that Christian will be competing in the STK1000 class at Snetterton leasing bike and paddock space fr

BSB Rd 6. Knockhill. Race Day Sunday

The day was dominated by the wet and windy conditions that hit Knockhill ultimately shortening the meeting and pushing the 2nd Superbike and STK600 races to Snetterton.

The first Superbike race ran in the wet and following a good start Dan unfortunately lost traction after two laps going into turn one crashing out unharmed. In race two Dan again started well but the race was red flagged for a crash and was postponed to Snetterton.

BSB Rd 6. Knockhill. Saturday qualifying

A good day today at a dry Knockhill for qualifying for all riders but there is a threat of rain for tomorrow.

Dan is riding with growing confidence and purpose and has gone faster session by session all weekend culminating in a great 6th place on the grid for race one tomorrow. What's more, Dan has been riding consistently fast sequential laps which will give Dan confidence for the races tomorrow.

BSB Rd 5 Mallory Park. Race Day Sunday.

Dan, Christian and Pat did not really have the race results that they wanted from Mallory.

Dan had a DNF and a 14th place finish in his two races. A difficult start in race one left Dan fighting his way back through the field then to be taken out from behind by Martin Jessop. Subsequently starting 16th on the grid in race two Dan again started to progress through the field but was not able to hold those gains and moved back to 14th at the finish.

Great dry and sunny weather at Mallory this weekend is helping to make a successful event.

Dan and Rob Mac Racing have made further progress this weekend building on the Cadwell success and qualifying in a strong 8th position for race one. Second row is always a good starting place for Dan and with confidence high the races will be good.

Christian and SMT have been posting progressively faster lap times through the weekend leading to a 57.0s lap in Roll for Pole getting throug

BSB Rd 4 Cadwell Park. Race Day Sunday

Spectacular sunny and dry weather for race day at Cadwell:

Dan was looking for a step forward in the races at Cadwell and he achieved that. A 10th place in race one and a crash in race two from 7th position may not have delivered the points that Dan wanted but Dan was pleased that he was competitive and aggressive particularly in the second race where he was up to 5th at one point. In summary Dan looked to be a challenger for the front positions and that is the step forward that Dan a

BSB Rd 4 Cadwell Park. Qualifying day Saturday

Qualifying day today at Cadwell in the sun:

Dan's approach to this weekend and the season going forward, is to set the first three difficult rounds as a baseline and to move a step forward each round starting from here. Roll for Pole achieved that with Dan finishing 11th on the grid ahead of teammate Ian Lowry and only 0.75 secs off pole time. A solid base for the two races tomorrow.

BSB Rd 3 Oulton Park. Race Day Monday

Race day brought changeable weather and a good result for Pat in particular.

The Supersport race was delayed by the start of rain, to allow a wet practice. When eventually started the race was heavily effected by the wet conditions which allowed Pat to take advantage of his good wet riding skills and progress gradually through the field over the course of the race including a pace car, to finish first in the cup competition and 7th overall. A great result for Pat and East Coast Racing

The first Oulton Park round of the season started today. All four riders had practice sessions today except Martin who also had his first qualifying session with new team TAG Triumph. Martin qualified 14th in his group during his first day on the new bike having made large steps forward through the sessions. His second qualifying session is tomorrow afternoon whilst Dan, Christian and Pat also qualify through the day.

Martin to move to TAG Triumph

Martin and I are pleased to confirm that Martin is moving from JHS Racing to TAG Triumph in the BSB Superstock 600 class. After the first two rounds it is clear that Martin will be able to make the change to four stroke 600 racing more quickly in the successful TAG Triumph team with the coaching and technical support available. With this in mind we have agreed with Rob Winfield (who runs TAG Triumph) a deal for the next two rounds at which point we will have further discussions about a deal f
